Have you ever asked your dentist a question about your tooth, and all you do is sit there and nod as if you know what he or she is saying? Wouldn’t it be nice if you could see your tooth? Well, you can!
An intra-oral camera is a wand with a tiny camera at the end. When placed in your mouth, a picture of your tooth (or teeth) can be place up on a monitor, for your view. Now you can understand why your dentist is recommending a crown for that tooth with a fractured cusp or a large, broken-down filling! Isn’t technology wonderful?
